So I really despise food storage. Going to the cannery and canning food in case we are out of money really makes me feel very..."Mormon". That being said I'm am fighting this all the way. The profit commanded it so I'm going to do it. (wouldn't it be HORRIBLE if the prophet commanded us to make scrapbooks, ugh). Nonetheless, I feel like I need to do it so here goes.

First I am starting with the 72 hour kits. I am fighting off the tendency to go to Sam's to buy an emergency bag. Wouldn't that be easy and seriously, doesn't it sound like me? Instead of buying something pre-made I went and bought four buckets for my family and candy bars to put in them. Next I put some clothes and medicine in them just to be safe. Flashlights and batteries and a wind-up powered radio. That should do it for today because I do have other things to do...
